Air Force Federal Credit Union Now Offering

WALKAWAY® Protection for Automotive Financing

SAN ANTONIO— Air Force Federal Credit Union announces it is offering WALKAWAY^® Protection for Automotive Financing, for a limited time to members and their families.

WALKAWAY Protection for Automotive Financing is a unique, one-of-a kind program that allows members, regardless of age, health or employment record to return their vehicle and walk away from negative equity should they encounter a life-changing circumstance, such as involuntary unemployment, loss of driver’s license due to medical impairment, international employment transfer, or self-employed personal bankruptcy. It is the first and only complimentary 12-month vehicle return program in the country, and Air Force FCU is the only credit union that currently offers WALKAWAY protection.

“We wanted to offer a product that was consistent with our credit union philosophy of wise financial management,” said President/CEO Robert A. Glenn. “This product protects members from unanticipated life events where they would find themselves owing more on their automobile than its actual value.
