Sureka Surparaju
.Net Developer | Employed at EFG Since 2006
How would you describe EFG’s
culture?
It’s a medium-sized company but has a “family-like” feel to it.
The people are very helpful and professional and we are known to
provide the best customer service in our industry. Our core values
say it all: DRIVE — Dependability, Respect, Integrity, Vision, and
Excellence
What are some of the perks of working at
EFG?
One of the things that I have always appreciated is the support
and encouragement I have received towards my humanitarian
involvement in the community, be it mission trips or Habitat for
Humanity projects. A couple of years ago, while framing a house, I
was able to sign a door frame post — I wrote “Thank you, EFG!”

Tell us about teamwork at EFG.
I work on a team of five. I can honestly say it’s one of the best
teams I’ve worked on in my career. Our strengths balance our
weaknesses, we have great camaraderie, and I can say that each of
my teammates genuinely cares about my personal success. We are able
to pull together quickly to not only meet the needs of our internal
and external clients, but to exceed their expectations, every
time.
How do you describe working at EFG to your friends
and family?
It’s challenging in a good way, but not stressful. I
have a great work/life balance working for EFG. Truly, I believe we
are making a huge difference for our clients. I’ve seen clients
engage with us and immediately take innovative products to market
in a turnkey fashion.

Facilities Manager | Employed at EFG Since 1989
What can you tell us about the culture at
EFG?
The culture of EFG, in my opinion, is the shared feeling that we
will do just about anything to provide a solution to a customer’s
concerns, as it has to do with their financial success. If we don’t
have the solution already, we will create it.
How do you describe working at EFG to your friends
and family?
When asked by my family, or anyone for that matter, about what
it’s like to work for EFG, I always answer, “If you have to work
for a living, EFG is a darn good place to do it!” I am comfortable
in the fact that EFG is a family-owned American company with good
values, a good reputation, and a good relationship with its
employees.

Very supportive, innovative, and always trying to

ladder.

Wendy Price
Assistant Controller | Employed at EFG Since 1995
How would you describe EFG’s
culture?
EFG has always been very family-like. We work hard and we
play hard. I’ve always enjoyed being here and knowing that EFG is
here to stay. Even through difficult challenges like the economy,
there has never been a concern that EFG would shut down or perform
a major layoff. I feel secure in my job, but at the same time
I know that we have new challenges to face — so it’s never
boring.
Most memorable moment at EFG?
We’ve had so many good moments that it’s hard to pick just one. I
think my favorite was when I got to meet EFG founder Bob Moore back
in 1996. He had an amazing vitality. It was hard to believe that
such a man had built up such an amazing legacy.
What are some of the perks of working
here?
Again, I think one of the main perks of being here is the family
atmosphere. While everyone is dedicated to making EFG a
success, everyone also realizes that we have outside lives and that
our families have to come first. You can’t have happy,
productive employees if they are stressed or worried about their
families. It’s also nice knowing that I work for one of most
respected companies in our industry. I can feel very proud of
saying that I work for EFG.
