We are looking to hire a Director, Underwriting (Risk Management) responsible for providing broad-based leadership and oversight of EFG’s underwriting activities, with responsibility for establishing and managing contract reserves to ensure accurate claim coverage. Equally as important, this position will lead cross-functional initiatives, demonstrating hands-on leadership in a lean, performance-driven environment that values innovation, accountability, and results.
Responsible for managing automotive claims related to mechanical breakdowns, maintenance, and tire or wheel repairs to determine coverage and liability related to claims such as Road Hazard, Maintenance, and Paintless Dent Repair coverage, while also responding to customer and dealer inquiries regarding contract coverage and claims processes.
Responsible for providing customer service to contract holders, automobile dealerships, parts suppliers and inspectors in a call center environment, and work directly with repair shops and parts suppliers to determine coverage and liability while also responding to customer and dealer inquiries regarding contract coverage and claims processes.
Responsible for full-cycle accounts receivable (start to finish through month end close), processing and overseeing daily cash postings, and managing the Accounts Receivable inbox workflow and monitoring completion of weekly cash and Accounts Receivable balances.
